THE WHAT ON EARTH? WALLBOOK is an innovative A3 sized, concertina-folded hardback book that tells the complete story of planet, life and people from the beginning of time to the present day. It can be read like a book or unfolded and stuck on a wall turning it into a 2.3 metre-long wall chart.

One side of the Wallbook features a timeline stretching from the beginning of the universe c. 13.7 billion years ago to the present day. Six coloured streams of content comprise the history of Space, Earth, Sky, Sea, Land and Humanity. Six more streams, divided geographically, tell the story of the rise and fall of human civilisations beginning c. 6,000 years ago. On the back is a 7,000 word narrative guide that tells the story of planet, life and people in words, highlighting the most seismic moments in natural and human history and referencing them on the visual timeline overleaf.
