About The Man’s Book

Every now and then a book comes along that makes you ask yourself: why didn’t I think of that....it deserves to sell in truckloads, and it probably will
- LITERARY REVIEW

[Thomas Fink] is displeased by this marginalisation of masculinity. He wants gentlemen everywhere to stand up and take note. Ladies should be aware that it makes for an illuminating afternoon when they do
- NEW STATESMAN

A big celebration of the human male form, spelling out all the stereotypes that make us so unique. A must, if urinal etiquette confuses you
- NUTS MAGAZINE

Perhaps you’ve wondered about which urinal you should choose (and of course why), or the 119 single malt whiskies and how they differ, or even Poker probabilities, conker strategies and darts statistics… Well, it’s all in THE MAN’S BOOK, which unabashedly celebrates being male and comprehensively examines the essential elements of a man’s life. It’s a chap’s companion if you like; a bloke’s bible that belongs in every man’s back pocket.

THE MAN’S BOOK also clarifies matters of etiquette, from suggesting the politest way of banning smokers (or non-smokers) from your house, to explaining why you should never use your mobile phone while waiting for a date to arrive. The essential elements of a man’s life are all explained in a systematic and intelligent way, with facts and figures, diagrams, tables and formulas to help men out of any tight spot.

Thomas Fink produced an updated, international version especially for 2008.
