Jake Smith-Bosanquet appointed to Board

Clare Conville and Patrick Walsh are delighted to announce that Jake Smith-Bosanquet has been appointed a Director of Conville & Walsh Ltd after three years as the company’s Foreign Rights’ Manager.

Now 30, Jake Smith-Bosanquet’s mission is to develop and expand the Conville & Walsh rights’ department whilst working in tandem with Clare Conville, Patrick Walsh and Alan Oliver (Finance Director) on the company’s strategic expansion plans.

Clare Conville says:

“Jake has contributed enormously to Conville & Walsh Ltd’s growth. His flair for forging international publishing relationships and developing and closing great deals for our authors is outstanding. He will make an invaluable addition to the Board.”

Patrick Walsh says:

“Jake has been closely involved in the plans we have been devising with our management consultants. In the course of his wide travels, he has opened up new business opportunities which have been a huge benefit to our clients, in tandem with looking after a small primary client list. That Jake and his deputy, Alexandra McNicoll, have so substantially boosted their department’s turnover is testament to their professionalism and energy.”

Jake Smith-Bosanquet says:

“I was thrilled to be asked by Clare and Patrick to take on this responsibility. With Conville & Walsh’s tenth anniversary approaching in 2010, it’s an exciting time to be entrusted with thinking strategically about the company’s future. I’m relishing the challenge.”
