our foreign rights department is managed by Jake Smith-Bosanquet, who sells translation rights on behalf of all our book agents.
The department handles some hundred new titles each year, together with an active backlist, in more than thirty territories.
In some specialist territories such as Israel, Eastern Europe, Japan, China, Korea, Turkey and Russia our titles are often represented by subagents, while US and Canadian rights are now exclusively sold direct by the individual book agents.
