our foreign rights department is headed by Jake Smith-Bosanquet, who sells translation rights on behalf of all our book agents. He works with colleagues Alexandra McNicoll and Henna Silvennoinen.

The department handles around a hundred new titles each year, together with an active backlist, in more than forty territories. In some specialist territories such as Israel, Eastern Europe, Japan, China, Korea, Turkey and Russia our titles are often represented by subagents. English language rights are sold direct by the primary book agents.
