our foreign rights department is headed by Jake Smith-Bosanquet, who sells translation rights on behalf of all our book agents. He works with colleagues Alexandra McNicoll, Henna Silvennoinen and Kinga Burger.

After they are sold in the English language, the department handles the translation rights for around a hundred new titles each year, together with an active backlist, in more than forty territories. In some specialist territories such as Israel, Eastern Europe, Japan, China, Korea, Turkey and Russia our titles are represented by subagents.

We are also proud to represent the translation rights of French publishers Editions Kero.
