Pamela Redmond Satran is the author of five novels, the coauthor of many bestselling baby name books, a humorist, magazine columnist, and web developer.  Her novels The Man I Should Have Married and Down There were published in the UK by Michael Joseph.  The Brilliant Book of Baby Names, Cool Names for Babies, and Cool Irish Names for Babies are published by Collins.  Her latest humor book, How Not To Act Old, based on her blog, is forthcoming in the UK from Harper Collins in 2010.  She lives outside New York City with her family.
