Jake Smith-Bosanquet
Jake grew up in East Anglia before studying degrees at Oxford and Cambridge. He worked briefly at Random House before joining Conville & Walsh in 2005 as an assistant to Patrick Walsh.
Since 2007 he has run Conville & Walsh’s foreign rights department, selling translation rights directly into most languages. Jake currently deals with German, Portuguese and Italian rights.
In 2011, Jake was named Rights Professional of the Year in the Bookseller Industry Awards, and in 2012 he was appointed Managing Director of the company.
