David graduated with a B.Sc. Econ in Politics and Social Anthropology, has been fluent in English since his mid teens, and has variously been a newspaper reporter, HGV1 lorry driver, training officer, marketing director, motor vessel engine room greaser, relief dairy herdsman and, prior to his current position, had his own car valeting business in Galway, Ireland.

He is, needless to say, an avid reader, and reads around a hundred manuscript samples a week for us to bring to light the best quality material we receive.
